What are we doing here? Well its been a journey and I am really happy with everything that's happened and all the amazing people I have met along the way. Oh and the games so many great games.

 

I started this as a blog documenting an effort to play through every game on the shelf at our house (well over one hundred). That was in early 2020, then as everyone knows the pandemic flip the scrip on those plans. I was not going to be able to host game nights. We quickly adjusted to playing on line and have been doing it ever since March of 2020.

In 2021 I decided to keep this blog going and augment it into and exploration of what games are who makes them and reviews of games. This has been an amazing transformation and the support of people like you and people in the gaming industry have been awesome. It really reminds me why I like board games in the first place. Board games have a real sense of community and inclusiveness.

I review current and older games that still have relevance today. I also talk to the people who design games and see what it takes to design and how they got to where they are. I am also designing my own games too and exited to share that progress in my design blog here.
