Cards Against Humanity Sues Elon Musk's SpaceX
In 2017 Cards Against humanity Launched a crowdfunding campaign to try and slow down former president Trump and his efforts to build a wall along the souther border. People made $15 dollar donations to the campaign and Cards Against Humanity bought a plot of land along the border and retained an eminent domain law firm. The idea behind this move was to slow down building the wall through litigation. The wall did not make it as far as the plot of land purchased.
Political efforts are no stranger to Cards Against Humanity. In 2022 they donated to National Network of Abortion Funds. During the 2016 election they came out with 2 special packs of cards "Trump" and "Hillary" packs and all proceeds from those went to help out the Clinton campaign. They put up billboards in Chicago through the PAC they sert up "Nuisance Committee". Cards Against humanity is also known for their outlandish are also know for outlandish black friday (the day after US holiday Thanksgiving known for shopping deals) stunts. For example in 2018 Cards Against humanity had a 99% off sale offering TVs, Caskets, a 17th Century Italian Halberd, a Car andeven a diamond ring. Another Example was the "Holiday Hole". In 2016 they had an execvator digging a hole as long as people kept donating to them $100,000 dollars were raised in this effort.
So back to present day that plot of land in the border ment to stop a former president from building a wall had a new neighbor move in SpaceX. since 2014 SpaceX has been building in the area of the Cards Against Humanity land. Elon Musk's SpaceX started using the land without permision to dump gravel and store construction equipment. SpaceX's launch facility is just 3 miles from the Cards Against Humanity land. Cards Against humanity filed a civil lawsuit against SpaceX for $15 Million in the 404th district court of Texas.
