GenCon is right around the corner and there are hundreds of games being released and even more for sale. Navigating this surmountable amount of games is no easy task. I have complied a list of games that I am excited to see at GenCon this year. I would also love to hear what you are excited about down in the comments! I have also exported out the list of games with the booth numbers attached from BGG. Its quickly searchable!
Lightning Train - Dire Wolf - Booth 2402
Lightning Train is the bag building route building hybrid that you didn't know you needed. This is the latest game from Paul Dennon (Dune Imperium, Clank!). Build your train company by delivering goods across the United States and upgrading your company. Planning will be very important with Lightning Train.
Dirt and Dust - Ares Games - Booth 229
Get behind the wheel in Dirt and Dust the newest game from designer Petr Čáslava (Kutna Hora). Dirt and Dust will have you adjusting your rally car as you race to a win. This is a deck-building dice placing card based Rally Car Game that has me excited to check it out!
Red Carpet - Devir - Booth 2711
Get you finest on as we check out the Red Carpet. You and the other players will be using your phones to capture the best photos of the celebrities waling this years Red Carpet. Players will have to manage their hand of cards as they position their cameras and move the celebrities and non celebrities down the Red Carpet to see who can get the best photos.

Micro Macro Kids, Crazy City Park - Edition Spielwiese - Booth 2435
Micro Macro games are great I am sure that the new Kids version is going to love up to the hype. I am excited to get this one for my five year old (even though its listed at 6+). In Micro Macro Kids Crazy City Park the kids will be looking through a very busy very large map of the city park to solve some mysteries and stop petty crimes.
Final Girl, Shriek - Van Ryder Games - Booth 2555
The Final Girl games are a series of horror themed solo games loosely based on movies you may have seen. Final Girl Shriek looks to be just as fun but with a twist that the setting is a convention. So maybe don't play the newest Final Girl alone in the dark hallways of the convention center...no, wait do do that. I am excited to check this one out.
High Tide - Underdog - Booth 1319
High Tide looks pretty and has a lot of beach vibes going on. The pastel pinks and greens put me right on a Miami beach. This is a cozy light strategy tile placing game.
